Statement

I am interested in neurodiversity in its various manifestations. I dedicated my graduation project, in which I was looking for new forms of tactile language, to working with deaf-blind ceramists. In another project, it was important for me to work with neurodivergent children who imagine and depict reality in a completely different way.

I am interested in addressing such topics as the stigmatization of neurodifferences and overcoming difficulties, homelessness, neurodifferences in children, gaming and other addictions, problems with memory and perception of reality, problems of consciousness, relationships and communication of biological and non-biological consciousness, alternative realities, dream space and virtual reality.

My personal experience includes some special moments from my own biography.

I grew up in sealed off military settlements in Siberia and spent parts of my childhood in the former East Germany, in a place where one of the concentration camps used to be. Moreover, my parents were born and grew up in a closed settlement that specialized in nuclear explosion tests.

The discovery of the "outside world" therefore seems to me not yet complete. This is why impressions of this "outside world" can be experienced so acutely and intensively during sleep.

Contemporary artists seem to me to be visual philosophers, creating new meanings in the mirror of their personal truth in interrelationship with the world. In an unobtrusive and subtle form, it can give a new vision to a person experiencing an evolutionary change in the picture of the world.
